Garmin Forerunner 235 Watch Review
As the technologies are becoming more functional every year, people really want running watches to have more possibilities than just distance and pace tracking. It would be impressive, if such watches could coach the runners as well, mentioning how to make workouts more effective.
As a result, modern devices can offer detailed running dynamics, analyze heart rate, and create feedback. So it is logical to think that a watch which was developed 2 years ago or more might struggle to follow the dynamics.

But the truth is that the Garmin Forerunner 235 has many functions because of the future-proof tech during its launch period and impressive tech updates. This device is not new but it has many features that still make this watch a good choice for runners.
Of course, some watches, for example, the Garmin Forerunner 645 have more useful functions, so it is obvious that the model 235 is not the best Garmin watch. But don’t rush and purchase the new model, just analyze the characteristics of the Forerunner 235 at first, because this device has good quality and a very affordable price.
The device was launched at the end of 2015. We have noticed that sometimes it is possible to find this device with a £100 discount in the UK, so if you search properly, then you may found such discounts in other countries too for sure. Thus, if your goal is to purchase a running watch of good quality for a reasonable price, then consider buying the Garmin Forerunner 235.
- The device has a readable color screen.
- Its silicone strap is comfortable.
- The heart rate indicator compromises comfort.
It is not so easy to find a stylish running watch but Forerunner 235 is exactly what it is. There are 3 color options for this device: black and blue, black and red, and black and grey.
The screen of the device is colored, round-shaped, and has a size of 1.23-inch diameter. It is readable enough so it won’t be a problem to check the information during any situation displaying up to 4 stats on 2 customizable screens. If you prefer devices with touchscreens, then you will be disappointed as Forerunner 235 doesn’t have it. It has 5 buttons on the sides to navigate through the menu.
As the strap of the device is made of soft silicone, it makes to have less sweat during the workout and it is very comfortable when a person applies it to the wrist for a better level of precision.
Using this watch is not extremely comfortable as its sensor protrudes more than the sensors of the other devices, such as Polar M430, for example, and it may protrude even more if you are running a marathon.
It is easy to click on the buttons during the running process though, they are responsive. This watch weighs only 42g, so it is really light. There are people who don’t like the plastics of the watch, although the material made the watch weigh less.
